Rolling Kids Project and Boundless Children’s Aid, which in Hungarian is called Допомога українцям (Határtalan Segítség Alapítvány)

In 2022 I came across János Mester and his Facebook page – actually because of my dog “Tibor”. There was a call for donations at Christmas time, a charity project known in Austria as the “Christmas in a Shoebox” campaign.

For whatever reason, I felt “this is my calling”. So, without really knowing much about this amazing project and all that János and his team of friends had been doing over the years, I set about preparing 100 Christmas-Gift-Boxes.

Kindness can come in waves. Once I got started and people found out, what I was doing, I got donations from some local shops, my neighbours, colleagues and friends. I was overwhelmed! So was János, who even came personally to collect everything. It was such a pleasure to meet this wonderful man, who´s been quietly and tirelessly helping children and families in need since 2011. The foundation supports fifteen different settlements with donations from Austria, Germany, and Switzerland. Their headquarters are in Nyíregyháza, just 70 km from the Ukrainian border. Supporting children and orphanages in western Ukraine is what their hearts beat for.

In all cases, donations are made directly. More information can be found on: www.grenzenlose-kinderhilfe.com and for the Rolling Kids Project see: https://www.facebook.com/Rollingkidsprojekt
Their goal is to help refugees in difficult life situations and to provide rapid humanitarian aid. Thanks to institutional and cooperative partnerships, they ensure that every donation is delivered purposefully and directly.
Being part of this project is deeply rewarding, because you can be sure that your contribution reaches exactly the children and families who need it most. Donations can be made in many different ways through their website.
THANK YOU János – for making a difference!
